My progress
Today I have signed up for a few more affiliate programs to get a better variety of products to sell. I have also purchased software to help me break down the more popular products.

Current status and goals
Currently I am still not the best at ppc advertising but I am doing well. I still do suffer losses sometimes but I have been more profitable on average and on some months, very profitable. I am slowly gaining more and more capital to earn more money, I am still working with a very limited amount of funds.
My goals for a successful ppc advertising venture:
- Understand what products sell
- Have a reliable set of affiliate programs
- Find newer more efficient ways to advertise with new capital
These goals will take a great deal of time, I hope sooner than later.
Once I understand the trends of products that sell and the type of products that sell especially based on the seasons I will be able to earn more per click.
After a while I should have an established set of affiliate programs that I can use, reliability and consistency is always safe.
With the extra money I earn I hope to invest it in other types of advertising ventures, diversification is always necessary.
My begining in PPC
I started getting interested in ppc advertising when everyone started talking about how well google worked for them. My first tries were horrible, I ran into a few problems;
- I was paying way too much to advertise
- I was advertising unreliable affiliate programs
- I was advertising programs that were not getting enough interested customers
There were quite a few other problems I faced as well but those were the ones that frustrated me the most. I began joining better programs like clickbank, marketleverage, etc... and I began using their resources much wiser.
When I first began I was spending $3.00 for every $0.35 - $0.50 I was making. With a lot of experience I am now in profit making two to three dollars for every fifty cents that I spend. This is not always consistent, there are highs and lows that you come across especially when trying new programs.
